Sorry it’s been a while since I last updated!
This is “Indigo” by Barry M, with “Blue Glitter” by Barry M over the top, and then “Adornment” by Topshop over the top of that. “Adornment” is a purple jelly with orange iridescent flakies in it and it’s gorgeous.

    A simple Valentine’s Day look.
I got a pack of nail jewels from Pound World, and thought I’d try them out! This photo is 4 days of wear, so as you can see, they have a good staying power!

I made the triangles from Sellotape, stuck them to my nails and painted over it, and then removed the tape. Inspired by Brooke on Youtube and also Chloe’s Nails.

  4. I’m back!

Sorry it’s been a while! I ended up getting the train home at Christmas and couldn’t take many polishes back with me :(

So my nails have been pretty boring for the last few weeks!

I’ll start posting regularly again now though, promise :D

I did my friend Clara’s nails when she was round mine the other day.
Sorry I can’t remember all the colours I used, they’re mostly either Barry M or Accessorize though :)

  6. Hello beautiful followers! Wow, there are so many of you <3

I was wondering, does anyone have any ideas for festive manicures? Or specific colour looks you’d like to see? If so drop me a message in my ask box :)

(I’m a bit stuck for ideas at the moment!)

    Thankyou x

  9. Acessorize polishes - a review

I went a little mad last week and ordered 5 bottles from the Accessorize website. (The free shipping lured me in!)

So these are the ones I chose: (L-R) ‘Purple Dream’ (shade 40), ‘Pink Spice’ (shade 35) ‘Aztec’ (shade 38), ‘Bronze’ (shade 41) and ‘Magical Mocha’ (shade 48).

I’ve tried out the first three so far with varying success. ‘Purple Dream’ is a violet with a pale blue undertone/iridescence to it; it is lovely on its own but I like it even better with a matte topcoat. It’s the colour I hoped Rain Of Flowers from MAC would look like on, really dense in colour.

‘Pink Spice’ is BEAUTIFUL in the bottle, pink with a rose glitter/duochrome to it, however on (I currently have it on my toenails but I’m not posting a picture of my toes on the internet) it lacks the gold-ness except when in direct bright light. It does however look like I’ve used foil, so I do like that about it.

Finally ‘Aztec’ is definitely the best of the lot, and possibly the best nail polish I own. It’s apparently an exact dupe for ‘Mean and Green’ from the MAC Venomous Villains collection, but I don’t own that so I can’t compare. It has a green base, with purple duochrome which also looks gold when viewed from some angles. When you catch it just right the purple merges with the gold and looks pink. Basically like painting an oil slick on your nails but prettier. This one also looks EXACTLY like foil. I’ll post a picture next week most likely.

As for the other two, I’m slightly disappointed with ‘Bronze’ as it appears in the bottle, as it seems a little like a non-exciting version of ‘Aztec’ but if I don’t like it when I try it out it’ll probably just go towards my sister’s Christmas present! ‘Magical Mocha’ looks nice, it’s an understated grey which looks like someone’s accidentally mixed lilac into, but in a good way. If that makes sense. I’ll try it out at some point but I’ve been distracted by the SHINY of the first three so it hasn’t really had a look-in yet…

They’re good nail polishes as well, lasting a couple of days without chipping (which, seeing as I don’t buy high-end polishes really is pretty good going) and they’re mostly 2-coaters.
